As per Article 27 of the Constitution of Bangladesh all citizens are equal before the law and entitled of equal protection of the law. BANGLADESH MANOBADHIKAR FOUNDATION intends to help general people so that they are not deprived of fundamental human rights recognized in the constitution.
 

Nomenclature of the organization [সংস্থার নামকরণ]

BANGLADESH MANOBADHIKAR FOUNDATION. বাংলাদেশ মানবাধিকার ফাউন্ডেশন(বিএমএফ) and it’s English Version is “BANGLADESH HUMAN RIGHTS FOUNDATION” বাংলাদেশ হিউম্যান রাইটস্ ফাউন্ডেশন।
 

FOUNDER

Since Dr. Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, PPM initiated and established this Foundation and signed it's memorandum. So, he will be considered as Founder.

LOCATION OF HEAD QUARTER

The registered National Head Quater of the organization shall be located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

AREA OF ACTIVITIES

Initially it will act with a base at Dhaka Metropolitan and it’s adjacent areas. Afterwards it will be expanded it’s activities all over Bangladesh as well as abroad as and when necessary.

DEFINITION

National Executive Committee (NEC): means the Highest Executive Committee elected by the members in the anual General Meeting after every three years.

Unit: means a Local Group recognized by the National Executive Committee  and authorized to function within a specified area in the country.

Unit Committee (UC): means the committee duly elected/selected by the members of unit and approved by the NEC of the foundation to run the activities of that unit.
